We love our military heroes – both active duty and veterans!
Historically, the General Davie Chapter, NSDAR, has always been involved in patriotic efforts, including working on the home front during both World Wars, donating U.S. flags to local schools, serving as the primary organizer of a Red Cross chapter in Durham in the early 20th century, and honoring our military through Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs, Veterans Administration hospital work, and providing personal items for our troops overseas.
